Using Analog and Digital I/O Resources (DSP Module)
The DSP Module accesses the analog and digital I/O resources on the hardware using a common interface—Elemental I/O. The DSP project includes Elemental I/O items that represent hardware I/O resources, such as LEDs, switches, analog inputs, or analog outputs. Elemental I/O items appear in the Project Explorer window under the DSP target.
You must create and add Elemental I/O items to a project before you can use the Elemental I/O Nodes in a DSP VI.
