Saving a New Custom Lab (Lesson Manager)
You must save both the LabVIEW project and the VI to save a new custom lab you create.
Complete the following steps to save a new custom lab.
- Create and edit a new custom lab.
- Select File»Save All in the Project Explorer window.
- Enter a name in the Name the Project dialog box that appears and click the OK button.
- Enter a name in the Name the VI dialog box that appears and click the OK button.

Note You must use the same name for the main VI and the LabVIEW project if you want LabVIEW to automatically open the VI when you open the project from the Open Saved Lab section of the Lesson Manager window. |
Saving Edits to a Lesson Manager Window Lab You Modify
If you use the Copy and Go button 
to make a copy of a Lesson Manager window lab, LabVIEW saves the LabVIEW project with the name you specify even though the Project Explorer window is not visible.
To save edits to the VI, select File»Save in the front panel window and close the VI. The next time you open the customized lab, the Project Explorer window is visible.
