You can test the connection and between LabVIEW and the NI SPEEDY-33, 6416 DSK, 6711 DSK, or 6713 DSK targets with the Test My Hardware button.

Complete the following steps to test the connection with the target device.

1. Click the Test My Hardware button in the Lesson Manager window to test the connection with the target device.
2. Click the Start button in the Basic Test dialog box and follow the status of the tests on screen. Some tests only pass or fail. Other tests require that you watch the LEDs on the target device or listen to audio output from the target device.

Note   You must plug speakers into the target device to hear the analog output. Refer to the target device hardware documentation for information about plugging in speakers.

3. Click the Close button to close the dialog box and return to the Lesson Manager window.
