Preferences Dialog Box (Windows, Not in Base Package)

Open the LabVIEW MathScript Window and select File»Preferences to display this dialog box.

Use this dialog to configure settings for the LabVIEW MathScript Window.

This dialog box includes the following components:

• System Info—Displays information about the LabVIEW MathScript Window system settings. This page includes the following components:
  • Connected engine—Displays the engine to which the LabVIEW MathScript Window is connected.
  • Width (pixels)—Displays the width of the LabVIEW MathScript Window in pixels.
  • Height (pixels)—Displays the height of the LabVIEW MathScript Window in pixels.
  • Current script path—Displays the file path to the last script you saved or loaded in the LabVIEW MathScript Window.
• History—Sets options for the Command History list. This page includes the following components:
  • History file name—Specifies the file to which LabVIEW saves the Command History list when you exit the LabVIEW MathScript Window. By default, LabVIEW saves the Command History list to the history.txt file in the labview\vi.lib\imath\ui directory.
  • Ignore identical consecutive entries?—Specifies whether to show or hide identical consecutive commands in the Command History list.
  • History buffer size (entries)—Specifies the maximum number of entries that LabVIEW displays in the Command History list.
• Output—Sets options for the Output Window. This page includes the following components:
  • Output buffer size (in characters)—Specifies the maximum number of characters that LabVIEW displays in the Output Window.
  • Output wrapped?—Specifies whether to enable word wrapping in the Output Window.
