Saving and Loading Data Files

You can save and load data files in the LabVIEW MathScript Window. Data files contain numerical values for variables. Complete the following steps to save a data file.

1. In the LabVIEW MathScript Window, select File»Save Data. You also can right-click the Variable List on the Variables page and select Save Data from the shortcut menu.
2. In the file dialog box, navigate to the directory in which you want to save the data file.
3. Enter a name for the data file in the File name field.
4. Click the OK button to save the data file.

You also can load existing data files into the LabVIEW MathScript Window. In the LabVIEW MathScript Window, select File»Load Data or right-click the Variable List on the Variables page and select Load Data from the shortcut menu to load the data file you want.

Note  You must save data files before you can load them into the LabVIEW MathScript Window.
