Property of Variable.

Gets or sets the description of the CUSTOM alarm for a shared variable. To use this property, you must install the LabVIEW Datalogging and Supervisory Control Module.

Note  You can enable alarming only for network-published shared variables.

This property is similar to the Description option on the Configure Alarms dialog box.
