Builds digital data or modifies existing digital data. If you do not wire the digital data input, the VI creates new digital data based on the components you wire. If you wire the digital data input, the VI modifies the digital data based on the components you wire. Examples

digital data is the digital data you want to edit. If you do not wire the digital data input, the VI creates new digital data based on the components you wire.
transitions is a 1D array in which each element represents the transition location for the corresponding sample in data. transitions can be empty if you do not want compression.
data contains the data values where each row in the 2D array represents the data on the signals at a particular time with the most significant line of data first.
digital data is the resulting digital data. If you did not wire existing digital data, this is the new digital data. If you wired existing digital data, this is the edited digital data.
