The Controls palette is available only on the front panel. The Controls palette contains the controls and indicators you use to create the front panel. The controls and indicators are located on subpalettes based on the types of controls and indicators.
The controls and indicators you view on the Controls palette depend on the visible categories.
Select View»Controls Palette or right-click the front panel workspace to display the Controls palette. If you right-click the front panel workspace, the palette will be in a temporary position. Click the thumbtack in the upper left corner of the palette to pin the palette so it is no longer temporary. LabVIEW retains the Controls palette position and size so when you restart LabVIEW, the palette appears in the same position and has the same size. You can change the contents of the Controls palette.
