You can create a secure LabVIEW environment that users must log into and out of provided there is a security domain configured on the network. After you create user accounts, LabVIEW can use the user login information to identify LabVIEW users when communicating with remote VI Servers that have an access control list enforced. An access control list displays the access rights granted to specific users and groups. Refer to Managing Domains Using the Domain Account Manager for more information.

You also can create a secure LabVIEW network by setting up VI Server access control lists on each LabVIEW environment. Then you can programmatically log in, log out, and monitor user account changes from the block diagram using application property nodes, method nodes, and application events.
