From the Project Explorer window, right-click a target, or a folder or library under the target, and select Add Hyperlink from the shortcut menu to display the Hyperlink Properties dialog box. You also can select the target and select Project»Add to Project»Add Hyperlink to display the Hyperlink Properties dialog box.

Use this dialog box to add hyperlinks as an item in the LabVIEW project.

This dialog box includes the following components:

• Name—Specifies the name of the hyperlink that appears as a project item.
• Address—Specifies the corresponding URL address of the hyperlink.

The Hyperlink Properties dialog box accepts the following types of addresses for the address of a hyperlink:

• a network address, for example, \\server\doc.txt
• a local address, for example, C:\My Test\
• an HTTP address, for example, http://www.ni.com
• an FTP address, for example, ftp://ftp.document.com
• a mailto address, for example, mailto:email@email.com
