Set the options in the configuration dialog box of an Express VI to specify how the Express VI operates. By default, you configure Express VIs when you place an Express VI on the block diagram and set options in the configuration dialog box that appears.

Complete the following steps to configure an Express VI on the block diagram.

1. Right-click the Express VI and select Properties from the shortcut menu to display the configuration dialog box of the Express VI.
2. Set the options in the dialog box to customize how the Express VI operates. Use the Context Help window to view more information about each dialog box option.
3. Click the OK button to save the configuration.

Note  You also can configure an Express VI by double-clicking the Express VI.
