To create a new local domain on the computer, see the Creating a Local Domain topic. Complete the following steps to destroy a local domain that you have created.

Note  You must be logged in as Administrator to the local domain or you do not have access to destroy it.
  1. Click the local domain and select Domain»Destroy Local Domain or right-click the local domain and select Destroy Local Domain from the shortcut menu.
  2. When you are prompted to confirm that you want to destroy the domain, click the Yes button.
  3. Enter the password in the Enter Administrator Password dialog box and click the OK button.

If you cannot destroy a domain through the Domain Account Manager, such as if you do not have the password for the domain, you can delete the domain directly from the National Instruments/Shared/Domain directory. You must log on to the computer as an administrator to delete files from the National Instruments directory.
