Formatting the X- and Y-Axes of a Graph or Chart
Complete the following steps to format the x- and y-axes of a graph or chart.
- Right-click the graph or chart and select X Scale»Formatting or Y Scale»Formatting from the shortcut menu to display the Format and Precision page of the Properties dialog box.
- Modify the Format and Precision settings to format the graph or chart.
 | Note Select Advanced editing mode to display the text options that let you enter format strings directly. Enter format strings to customize the numeric precision of the axes. |
- Click the OK button to close the Properties dialog box.
