Rearranging Subdiagrams
To rearrange the frames in a Stacked Sequence structure, right-click the structure border, select Make This Frame, and select a new frame number from the shortcut menu.
You can rearrange the cases in a Case structure with three or more cases. You can rearrange the cases in an Event structure with two or more cases. You can rearrange the subdiagrams in a Conditional Disable structure or Diagram Disable structure with two or more subdiagrams.

Note You can rearrange the subdiagrams in a Case or Diagram Disable structure and the order of the cases or subdiagrams does not affect how the VI runs. When you rearrange the subdiagrams in a Conditional Disable structure, multiple subdiagrams can be TRUE, but LabVIEW compiles and executes only the first subdiagram that is TRUE. |
- Right-click the structure border and select Rearrange Cases (or Subdiagrams) from the shortcut menu to display the Rearrange Cases dialog box.
- Select a case or subdiagram in the Case List and drag it to a new location. A horizontal line appears to indicate where to insert the case or subdiagram in the list. You also can click the Sort button to rearrange the cases or subdiagrams alphabetically.
- Click the OK button.
You also can swap or shift the cases in a Case structure.
