Complete the following steps to reset the VI revision history and revision number.

1. Select Edit»VI Revision History to display the History window.
2. Click the Reset button. The Reset button is dimmed if the VI has no revision history or is not saved.
3. In the dialog box that appears, click the Yes button to reset the revision number to zero or click the No button to increment the current revision number. LabVIEW erases the VI revision history and changes the revision number to zero or to the next number.

You also can use the Clear History method to clear the revision history of a VI programmatically.
