Owning Palette: Numeric Functions

Use the Scaling VIs to convert voltage readings to other temperature or strain units.

Palette Object	Description
Convert RTD Reading	Converts a voltage you read from an RTD into temperature in Celsius. The data type you wire to the RTDvolts input determines the polymorphic instance to use.
Convert Strain Gauge Reading	Converts a voltage read from a strain gauge to units of strain. The data type you wire to the Vsg input determines the polymorphic instance to use.
Convert Thermistor Reading	Converts a thermistor voltage into a temperature. This VI has different modes of operation for voltage-excited and current-excited thermistors. The data type you wire to the Voltage input determines the polymorphic instance to use.
Convert Thermocouple Reading	Converts a voltage reading from a thermocouple into a temperature value. The data type you wire to the Voltage Waveform (waveform), Voltage Array (array), or Thermocouple Voltage (scalar) input determines the polymorphic instance to use.
