Syntax

c = blkdiag(a, b, ...)

Description

Generates a matrix c with the following structure: c = [a, 0, ... , 0; 0, b, 0, ...]. You can specify an unlimited number of input matrices.

Examples

Inputs

Name	Description
a	Specifies the first matrix.
b	Specifies the second matrix.

Outputs

Name	Description
c	Returns a block diagonal matrix.

Examples

A = [1, 2; 3, 4]
B = [5, 6; 7, 8]
C = blkdiag(A, B)
