c = isa(a, b)

Description

Determines whether a variable is a member of a specified class.

Name Description
a Specifies a variable.
b Specifies a class. b is a string that accepts the following values: 'char', 'double', 'int8', 'int16', 'int32', 'int64', 'numeric', 'single', 'uint8', 'uint16', 'uint32', and 'uint64'. LabVIEW modules and toolkits you have installed might provide additional data types.

Outputs

Name Description
c Returns 1 if a is a member of b. Otherwise, this function returns 0. c is a Boolean.

Details

If you call this function from a MathScript Node, LabVIEW operates with slower run-time performance for the MathScript Node. To optimize the performance of the MathScript Node, remove this function from scripts.
