Create New I/O Server Dialog Box
Installed With: DSC and RT Modules
(DSC Module) Right-click My Computer or a project library name in the Project Explorer window and select New»I/O Server from the shortcut menu to display this dialog box.
(RT Module) Right-click an RT target or a project library name in the Project Explorer window and select New»I/O Server from the shortcut menu to display this dialog box.
Use this dialog box to create an I/O server.
(DSC Module) You can create on input change I/O servers, periodic I/O servers, data set marking I/O servers, Modbus I/O servers, Modbus Slave I/O servers, Alarm Printer I/O server, EPICS Client I/O server, and OPC Client I/O servers.
(RT Module) You can create Modbus I/O servers and Modbus Slave I/O servers.
This dialog box contains the following options:
- I/O Server Type—Contains a list of I/O servers you can create.
- Continue—Displays the Configuration dialog box for the selected I/O server.
