Convert Build Script Dialog Box

Select Tools»Convert Build Script to display this dialog box.

Use this dialog box to convert settings from a build script file (.bld) from a previous version of LabVIEW into a new LabVIEW project. Before you convert build settings, prepare and save the VIs from the build script in the current version of LabVIEW.

This dialog box includes the following components:

• Build script (.bld) to convert—Specifies the location of the .bld file you want to convert. Enter a path or use the Browse button to navigate to and select the file.
• Project (.lvproj) to create—Specifies the name of the project to create. The build settings appear in the project. Use the Browse button to navigate to and specify the directory where you want to save the project.
• Convert—Creates a project that includes the files that the specified build script references and a build specification for the application, shared library, or installer.
• Cancel—Closes the dialog box without converting the build script settings.
