Complete the following steps to add space to the front panel or block diagram without resizing the window.
- Press the <Ctrl> key and use the Positioning tool to click the front panel or block diagram workspace. The Positioning tool cursor changes from an arrow to a plus sign.
(Mac OS X) <Command-Shift>-click, (Linux) <Alt-Shift>-click
- While holding the key combination, drag out a region the size you want to insert. A rectangle marked by a dashed border defines where space will be inserted.
|Note (Linux) You can use the middle mouse button to drag out a region without pressing any modifier keys. |
- Release the mouse button and <Ctrl> key to add the space.
