Edit the general settings, documentation, item settings, inheritance, probes, and wire appearance of a LabVIEW class in the Class Properties dialog box. Select from the following options:

  • General Settings Page—Use this page of the Class Properties dialog box to set the version number, VI icon template, editing permissions, and default palette settings for a LabVIEW class library.
  • Documentation Page—Use this page of the Class Properties dialog box to set the documentation information for a LabVIEW class library.
    Note  Because a LabVIEW class user only has access to the information you provide when you document the LabVIEW class, be sure to document the class and member VIs as completely as possible.
  • Item Settings Page—Use this page of the Class Properties dialog box to configure the access settings for items that a LabVIEW class owns.
  • Inheritance Page—Use this page of the Class Properties dialog box to configure the inheritance settings of a LabVIEW class.
  • Probes Page—Use this page of the Class Properties dialog box to assign a default probe for LabVIEW class users who utilize the LabVIEW class.
  • Wire Appearance Page—Use this page of the Class Properties dialog box to configure the wire appearance for a LabVIEW class.
