Click the Configure NI FPGA button on the Hardware I/O page of the SIT Connection Manager dialog box to launch this wizard.

Use this wizard to configure mappings between FPGA devices and a model DLL.

This wizard includes the following components:

  • Configure FPGA Devices—Use this page to select the FPGA devices that you want to use in a simulation.
    • FPGA Devices—Displays any FPGA devices you configured and the FPGA VIs you associated with each FPGA device.
    • Add Device—Launches the Add FPGA Device dialog box. Use this dialog box to add a new FPGA device. You also can add an FPGA device by double-clicking an empty row in the FPGA Devices table.
    • Edit Device—Launches the Edit FPGA Device dialog box. Select an FPGA device from the FPGA Devices table and click this button to edit the settings for that FPGA device. You also can edit the settings of an FPGA device by double-clicking an existing row in the FPGA Devices table.
    • Remove Device—Removes the selected FPGA device from the FPGA Devices table.
  • Configure FPGA Mappings—Use this page to create mappings between FPGA device inputs/outputs and model DLL inputs/outputs.
    • FPGA Channels—Displays the inputs and outputs of any FPGA devices you added.
      • Collapse All Channels—Collapses the FPGA Channels tree.
    • Model Inputs/Outputs—Displays the inputs and outputs available in the model DLL.
Note  You can expand the tree of a vector or matrix input or output to view the elements of that input or output. Elements of vector and matrix inputs and outputs appear as (<PortNumber>) <ElementNumber>.
      • Collapse All Model Inputs/Outputs—Collapses the Model Inputs/Outputs tree.
    • Add—Adds a mapping. Select a hardware channel and a model DLL input or output before clicking this button.
    • Current Mappings—Displays any mappings you configured.
    • Remove—Removes the selected mapping from the Current Mappings table.
    • Clear—Removes all mappings from the Current Mappings table.
    • Load Mappings from File—Loads a table of mappings from a saved text file.
    • Save Mappings to File—Saves the Current Mappings table to a text file.
