Complete the following steps to specify the model DLL and execution host for a real-time (RT) simulation.
- Configure any necessary RT Series hardware and ensure the hardware is working properly. Refer to the KnowledgeBase for information about configuring hardware devices for use with the LabVIEW Simulation Interface Toolkit.
- Launch LabVIEW and create a host VI.
- Select Tools»SIT Connection Manager to launch the SIT Connection Manager dialog box.
- Create mappings for parameters and signals you want to manipulate and probe.
- Click the Change button next to the Current Model file path indicator and select the model you want to use.
- Select the Real-Time Target button. If you have not already selected a model DLL, LabVIEW prompts you for the location of the model DLL. If you have not already selected an RT target for the model DLL, LabVIEW prompts you to select the RT target.
- Select the appropriate model DLL and click the OK button to return to the SIT Connection Manager dialog box. The Model DLL file path indicator updates to show the path to the model DLL you selected.
