The Download Error dialog box appears if an error occurs while downloading a VI to the FPGA target. You might receive the error if one of the following conditions is true:
- You do not have an FPGA target. Verify that a valid FPGA target appears in the Project Explorer window and that the FPGA target is connected and powered on.
- The appropriate driver software is not installed. Confirm that the FPGA target driver is installed in Add/Remove Programs. Refer to the specific FPGA target hardware documentation for information about required driver software.
- You have a corrupt bitfile. Recompile the VI.
- You have a faulty FPGA target. Download an FPGA VI that you know works to see if the target works.
- A remote FPGA target is no longer accessible.
- You do not have the correct remote access permissions configured.
Refer to NI technical support if you need help resolving the error.
