Right-click an FPGA I/O item in the Project Explorer window and select Properties from the shortcut menu to display the FPGA I/O Properties dialog box. Select General in the Category list to display this page.

Use this page to configure general characteristics of the FPGA I/O item.

This page contains the following components:

• Name—Displays the name of the FPGA I/O item that appears in the Project Explorer window. You can change the name of the FPGA I/O item by typing in the Name column in the New FPGA I/O table, by typing in the Name string control in the FPGA I/O Properties dialog box, or by right-clicking the FPGA I/O item in the Project Explorer window and selecting Rename from the shortcut menu.
• Resource—Displays the I/O resource on the FPGA target that you selected from the Available Resources tree in the New FPGA I/O table. The Resource corresponds to an I/O resource on the FPGA target. You can change the resource by right-clicking the FPGA item in the Project Explorer window and selecting Select Resource from the shortcut menu.
