Select Tools»FPGA Module»Import FPGA Files from LabVIEW FPGA Module 1.X to display this dialog box.

Use this dialog box to update FPGA VIs, LabVIEW embedded projects, and host VIs you created using LabVIEW 7.x and the FPGA Module 1.x for use with LabVIEW 8.2 and the FPGA Module 8.2. LabVIEW creates a new LabVIEW project and includes the FPGA VIs and host VIs you convert in the new project.

Note  National Instruments recommends you back up your files before you begin updating them for use with the FPGA Module 8.2.

This dialog box includes the following components:

• Project—Displays the name of the project to which you import FPGA VIs and host VIs. If you create a new project, this option displays the default name of the new project.
• LabVIEW Embedded Project (*.lep) Files—Displays the list of LabVIEW embedded projects to convert. Click the Add button below the list to launch the Select an Embedded Project to Add dialog box. You then can navigate to the location of the embedded project you want to convert. Select an embedded project in the list and click the Remove button below the list if you want to remove an embedded project from the list. You must convert embedded projects if you used the FPGA Module 1.1 to create FPGA VIs. LabVIEW automatically converts the FPGA VIs associated with the embedded projects you include in this list.
• FPGA 1.0 VIs—Displays the list of FPGA VIs you created with the FPGA Module 1.0 that you want to convert. You do not need to add FPGA 1.1 VIs to this list. Click the Add button below the list to launch the Select a VI to Add dialog box. You then can navigate to the location of the FPGA 1.0 VI you want to add. Select a VI in the list and click the Remove button below the list if you want to remove a VI from the list. You do not need to add an embedded project to the LabVIEW Embedded Project (*.lep) Files list if you convert only FPGA 1.0 VIs.
• Host VIs—Displays the list of host VIs to convert. Click the Add button below the list to launch the Select a VI to Add dialog box. You then can navigate to the location of the host VI you want to convert. Select a VI in the list and click the Remove button below the list if you want to remove a VI from the list.
• Continue—Launches the Import Status dialog box.
