The LabVIEW FPGA Module provides programming features to help you build VIs that run on National Instruments FPGA targets, such as Reconfigurable I/O (RIO) devices.
You must purchase and install the FPGA Module to use these programming features. However, the FPGA Interface is available with FPGA target driver software. You can use the FPGA Interface functions in a host VI if you have an FPGA target and the appropriate NI driver software. You do not need the FPGA Module to use the FPGA Interface functions.
