Code Generation Errors Window

The Code Generation Errors window appears if errors occur while the LabVIEW FPGA Compile Server is generating intermediate files.

Use this window to view errors that occurred during code generation. The Code Generation Errors window does not update after you correct an error. You must recompile the FPGA VI to see the latest errors.

This window includes the following components:

• Errors—Lists all objects with errors in the FPGA VI.
• Details—Includes specific details about the error you select from the Errors list. This component also provides suggestions for correcting the error. However, you might be able to correct the error using techniques other than the suggestions.
• Show Error—Highlights the location of the error in the VI or Project Explorer window. You also can double-click an error in the Errors list to highlight the location of the error. Clicking the Show Error button does not close the Code Generation Errors window. LabVIEW disables the Show Error button if no object in the VI or Project Explorer window corresponds to the error you select.
