In LabVIEW 7.x and earlier, palette items were organized in palette views. Palette items are now organized according to categories. Now you can edit a palette set without using a custom palette view, which is no longer supported. You also can use the Favorites category to group together items on the Functions palette that you use frequently. If you want other categories, you can add palette categories.
If you are working with Windows and Blackfin targets, LabVIEW loads a palette set for each target. LabVIEW displays the appropriate palette set for the target that the VI is under in the Project Explorer window. You can determine the application instance of an open VI by looking at the bottom left corner of the front panel window or block diagram and change the application instance if necessary.

Tip If you cannot find a VI by navigating or searching the palettes, verify the Blackfin VI you are working on is under a Blackfin target in the Project Explorer window. |
