Checking the Status of the Blackfin Processor (Blackfin, Embedded Module)

Use the Processor Status window to determine the download, connection, and execution progress of a Blackfin application.

Note Note  The Processor Status window does not update if you place a checkmark in the Redirect stdout to serial port checkbox, located on the Advanced tab of the Application Information category in the Build Specification Properties dialog box.

Complete the following steps to check the status of the Blackfin target.

  1. Right-click a Blackfin target in the Project Explorer window and select Processor Status from the shortcut menu to display this window.
  2. Build the Blackfin VI into a Blackfin application.
  3. Deploy and run the Blackfin application on the Blackfin target.
  4. Click the Status tab in the Processor Status window to view the current status.
  5. Click the Output or Errors tabs in the Processor Status window to view the current information.
  6. Use the following buttons on the Output and Errors tabs to clear the window and to copy the text to the clipboard.

      clears the contents in the window.

      copies the text in the window to the clipboard so you can paste the output or errors into a text editor or other program.

Note Note  You can have only one Processor Status window at a time. The Processor Status window corresponds to the current settings in the VisualDSP++ Target Configuration dialog box.
