You must create a LabVIEW project before you can build a Blackfin VI into a Blackfin application. Projects contain targets, VIs, and build specifications.

You can create a new project in one of the following ways:

• Through the Project Explorer window—Creates an empty project. You must add a Blackfin target to the project and create build specifications separately if you create a project through the Project Explorer window.
• Using the New Blackfin Project Wizard—Creates a project with a Blackfin target with a build specification.

You can add VIs, .ldf files, and other items to the project.
