Close the loop between the setpoint and the plant in a dynamic system model with a Simulation function that serves as a controller. When the simulation executes, these functions implement a controller and apply the controller output value to the system, which in turn drives the process variable toward the setpoint value.
You can implement controllers at various locations in the system, such as on a direct path with the plant, shown as follows where C represents the controller and P represents the plant.
