Palette items are organized according to categories. You can edit a palette set and use the Favorites category to group together items on the Functions palette that you use frequently. You also can organize the palette categories. If you want other categories, you can add palette categories.

If you are working with multiple targets, LabVIEW loads a palette set for each target. LabVIEW displays the appropriate palette set for the target that the VI is under in the Project Explorer window.

The Touch Panel Module supports many of the VIs and functions that the PDA Module supports, including some VIs that have PDA in the name. For example, the PDA Write BMP File VI is supported by both the PDA Module and the Touch Panel Module.

Tip  If you cannot find the VI you are looking for by navigating or searching the palettes, verify the Touch Panel VI you are working on is under a Touch Panel target in the Project Explorer window.
