A fixed-point filter implementation involves many different quantizers, such as the coefficients quantizer, the input quantizer, and the product quantizer. Each quantizer has a different effect on a fixed-point filter response. You must specify the appropriate quantizer source when configuring the quantizers. Use the source input of the Fixed-Point Tools VIs to choose an appropriate quantizer source.
