Sending Triggers to the Internal Queue of a Statechart (Statechart Module)

Complete the following steps to send a trigger to the internal queue of a statechart.

  1. Place a Send Internal Trigger function on the block diagram of an action.
  2. Click the Outputs cluster element, located on the left of this block diagram, to display a list of cluster elements.
  3. Select the InternalQueue»All Elements element.
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the Outputs cluster element located on the right side of the block diagram.
  5. Wire the InternalQueue element to the Internal Queue In input of the Send Internal Trigger function.
  6. Wire a trigger to the Trigger input of this function. The values in this list come from the triggers you create in the Edit Triggers and Groups dialog box.
    Tip  You can obtain a list of valid triggers by right-clicking the Trigger input input and selecting either Create»Control or Create»Constant.
  7. Wire the Internal Queue Out output terminal to the InternalQueue cluster element on the right side of the block diagram.

The action now resembles the following figure:
