Edit Triggers and Groups Dialog Box

Requires: Statechart Module

Access this dialog box by clicking the Edit Triggers button in either the Configure State or Configure Transition dialog box. You also can access this dialog box by double-clicking the Edit Triggers and Groups item, which is located under the .lvsc item in the Project Explorer window.

Use this dialog box to create and modify triggers and groups.

This dialog box includes the following components:

• Triggers and Groups—Displays the triggers and groups of triggers to which the statechart can react. By default, this list contains the NULL trigger. To rename a trigger or group, select the item and press the <F2> key.
  • Create Trigger—Adds a trigger to the Triggers list. After you add a trigger, you then can configure a transition or static reaction to react to that trigger. You configure these items by using the Configure Transition or Configure State dialog box.
  • Create Group—Adds a group to the Groups list.
  • Delete—Deletes the selected trigger or group.
• Add—Adds the selected item(s) to the Group Composition list.
• Remove—Removes the selected item(s) from the Group Composition list.
• Group Composition—Displays the triggers and groups that comprise a group. Double-click a group in the Groups list to change the current group.
