Configuring the ColdFire Example Target to Use DHCP or a Static IP Address (Embedded Development Module)
You can configure the M5329EVB board to use the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) or a static IP address. You only have to configure one or the other.
Complete the following steps to configure the board to use DHCP or a static IP address.
- Reset the M5329EVB board.
- Press any key to enter the dBUG monitor.
- To use DHCP, enter rootfstype=romfs ip=:::::eth0:dhcp.
- Enter show to check the configuration.
