Owning Palette: Adaptive Filters VIs

Requires: Adaptive Filter Toolkit

Sets the coefficients of an adaptive filter that you create with the least mean squares (LMS) or recursive least squares (RLS) algorithms. You must manually select the polymorphic instance you want to use.

Note  This VI does not work with the AFT Create FIR QR-RLS VI. You can use the AFT Get Coefficients VI to retrieve the coefficients from an adaptive filter.

Example

Use the pull-down menu to select an instance of this VI.

AFT Set Coefficients (FIR, Real)

adaptive filter in specifies the adaptive filter that you create.
coefficients specifies the coefficients this VI sets to the adaptive filter. The length of the coefficients array must equal the length of the adaptive filter.
error in describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.
adaptive filter out returns the adaptive filter in unchanged.
error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality.

AFT Set Coefficients (FIR, Complex)

adaptive filter in specifies the adaptive filter that you create.
coefficients specifies the coefficients this VI sets to the adaptive filter. The length of the coefficients array must equal the length of the adaptive filter.
error in describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.
adaptive filter out returns the adaptive filter in unchanged.
error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality.

Example

Refer to the Set and Get Adaptive Filter Coefficients VI in the labview\examples\Adaptive Filters\Getting Started\Set and Get Adaptive Filter Coefficients directory for an example of using the AFT Set Coefficients VI.
