This book discusses the methods that the Frequency Analysis VIs use for windowing, averaging, and performing frequency-domain measurements.

Use the Express VIs on the Frequency Analysis palette to develop and configure the following measurements interactively:

• Power spectrum
• Zoom power spectrum
• Frequency response
• Peak search
• Power in band

The Frequency Analysis VIs provide various frequency measurements based on the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT).

Note  This help file uses Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) to denote both the FFT and the DFT.
