The SVL Running RMS Level VI returns the root mean square (RMS) value computed over the last N seconds, or the integration time. The following block diagram illustrates an application using the SVL Running RMS Level VI.

The sampling frequency is 10 kS/s. The DAQmx Read (Analog 1D Wfm NChan NSamp) VI reads 1,000 samples at a time.
