Utility VIs

Installed With: Sound and Vibration Measurement Suite. This topic might not match its corresponding palette in LabVIEW depending on your operating system, licensed product(s), and target.

Use the Utility VIs to manipulate calculated data to obtain specific data formats or to set triggers on input signals.

The VIs on this palette can return general LabVIEW error codes or specific sound and vibration error codes.

Palette ObjectDescription
OAT AC DC SeparationSeparates the AC and DC values of the even-angle signal. The data type you wire to the even-angle signal input determines the polymorphic instance to use.
OAT Even Angle Signal Sample Rate ConversionConverts the sample rate of the even-angle signal. The data type you wire to the even-angle signal in input determines the polymorphic instance to use.
OAT Even Angle Signal SubsetRetrieves a subset of an even-angle signal at a specified revolution duration. The data type you wire to the even-angle signal input determines the polymorphic instance to use.
OAT Even Time or Speed SegmentDivides an input signal into even-time segments or even-speed intervals. The input signal of this VI can be an even-angle signal or an XY signal. When you use this VI to divide an XY signal, the XY signal can be only the output of the OAT Order Magnitude and Phase VI, OAT Overall Level Plot VI, or Order Tracking Express VI.
OAT Index 2D XY SignalReturns a 1D XY signal array of a 2D XY signal array at a specific channel or order. This VI uses the row or column index value to determine which signal array to return.
OAT Output Buffered DataBuffers the input signals and returns them in first-in first-out (FIFO) mode. The data type you wire to the XY signal input determines the polymorphic instance to use.
OAT Output Trigger EventDetects the first level-crossing condition. The upper setpoint and lower setpoint of the threshold and the hysteresis specify the trigger conditions. The data type you wire to signal in determines the polymorphic instance to use.
OAT Output Triggered Even Angle SignalGenerates triggered even-angle signals for vector averaging in order power spectrum calculations. The data type you wire to even-angle signal determines the polymorphic instance to use.
