Order-Domain Measurements Express VIs

Owning Palette: S&V Express Measurements Express VIs

Installed With: Sound and Vibration Measurement Suite. This topic might not match its corresponding palette in LabVIEW depending on your operating system, licensed product(s), and target.

Use the Order-Domain Measurements Express VIs to perform common order analysis measurements interactively.

The Express VIs on this palette can return general LabVIEW error codes or specific sound and vibration error codes.

Palette ObjectDescription
Analog Tacho ProcessingLocates tachometer pulse positions in an analog tachometer signal and calculates the rotational speed for a single channel. This step enables you to condition the tachometer signal by setting the number of pulses per revolution, threshold, hysteresis, slope, and minimum pulse width.
Bode and PolarDisplays the Bode plot and polar plot of designated orders and the overall level of an input signal for a single channel or for N channels.
Orbit and TimebaseDisplays an orbit plot and a timebase plot with unfiltered or filtered data.
Order SpectrumComputes the order power spectrum of an input signal for a single channel or for N channels. This step can return the spectra in root-mean-square, peak, or peak-to-peak units.
Order TrackingComputes the magnitudes and phases of designated orders and the overall level of an input signal for a single channel or for N channels.
Order WaveformExtracts order waveforms from an input signal. This step can return order waveforms of one order or multiple orders. Use this step in offline analysis.
Shaft CenterlineDisplays the shaft centerline plot of an input signal.
Spectral MapComputes the order spectra or frequency spectra of an input signal as a function of time or rotational speed. This step can return the spectral map as a colormap or a waterfall graph.
