- Export waterfall graph—Specifies whether to export the spectral map as a waterfall graph. The default is FALSE.

| Configuration | Contains the following options:
- Plot type—Determines the physical quantities of the axes of the spectral map. You cannot set Plot type to Time-Frequency, Time-Order, RPM-Frequency, or RPM-Order for a waterfall graph.
- Frequency-Time (Default)
- Time-Frequency
- Order-Time
- Time-Order
- Frequency-RPM
- RPM-Frequency
- Order-RPM
- RPM-Order
- Maximum order—Specifies the maximum order to analyze in the colormap or waterfall graph outputs. The actual maximum order might be larger than the one you specify. If Maximum order is less than 1, this step sets the maximum order to 1. The default value is 32. This option is available only when the Plot type is order-related.
- Run type—Specifies whether this data represents a Run-up (Default) or Run-down test. This option is available only if you select an RPM-related Plot type.If you select Run-up, this step performs order analysis only when the measured speed increases. If you select Run-down, this step performs order analysis only when the measured speed decreases. If you place a checkmark in the Limit range checkbox, the Run type parameter has a higher priority than the Start speed (RPM) and End speed (RPM) parameters. For example, if you set Run type to Run-up and Start speed (RPM) is greater than End speed (RPM), the NI Sound and Vibration Assistant switches the numeric values such that Start speed (RPM) is less than End speed (RPM).
- Time interval (s)—Specifies the time interval between two spectra. Time interval (s) must be greater than 0.001. The default is 0.1. This option is available only when the Plot type is time-related.
- Speed interval (RPM)—Specifies the speed interval between two spectra. Speed interval (RPM) must be greater than 1. The default is 50. This option is available only when the Plot type is speed-related.
- Limit range—Specifies whether to set a start and end value for the time or rotational speed at which to compute the spectral map. The default is FALSE.
 | Note If the values you specify for the Start speed (RPM) and End speed (RPM) parameters do not match the setting of the Run type parameter, the Sound and Vibration Assistant switches the numeric values to match the Run type parameter. |
- Start time (s)—Specifies the start time at which to compute the spectral map. Start time (s) is available only if Plot type is related to time. The default is 0.
The value of Start time (s) must be less than the value of End time (s).
- End time (s)—Specifies the end time at which to compute the spectral map. End time (s) is available only if Plot type is related to time. The default is Inf, which means this step computes the spectral map from the start time to the end of the signal.
The value of End time (s) must be greater than the value of Start time (s).
- Start speed (RPM)—Specifies the start rotational speed at which to compute the spectral map. Start speed (RPM) is available only if Plot type is related to the order. The default is 0.
- End speed (RPM)—Specifies the end rotational speed at which to compute the spectral map. End speed (RPM) is available only if Plot type is related to the order. The default is Inf, which means this step computes the spectral map from the start rotational speed to the end of the signal.

| Spectrum Settings | Contains the following options:
- Window—Specifies the type of window to apply to the colormap and waterfall graph.
- None
- Hanning
- Hamming
- Blackman-Harris
- Exact Blackman
- Blackman
- Flat Top
- 4 Term B-Harris
- 7 Term B-Harris
- Low Sidelobe
- Gaussian (Default)
- Window length (samples)—Specifies the length of the window to apply to the individual spectra. Window length (samples) must be a power of two and greater than or equal to 128. This step rounds Window length (samples) to the nearest valid value when Window length (samples) is less than 128 or not a power of two. Increasing the value of Window length (samples) can improve the frequency or order resolution but decreases the time or speed resolution. The default is 1,024.
- Scaling—Contains the following options:
- Spectrum type—Specifies whether to return a magnitude spectra or power spectra in the spectral map. The default is Power.
- Peak conversion—Specifies the peak scaling of the converted spectrum. You can select RMS (default), Peak, or Peak to Peak.
- Colormap scale—Specifies whether to return the amplitude of the spectra in the colormap linearly or in decibels. The default is dB.
- Waterfall scale—Specifies whether to return the amplitude of the spectra in the waterfall graph linearly or in decibels. The default is Linear.
