Owning Palette: Sound and Vibration VIs
Installed With: Sound and Vibration Measurement Suite. This topic might not match its corresponding palette in LabVIEW depending on your operating system, licensed product(s), and target.
Use the Swept Sine VIs to perform swept-sine measurements.
The VIs on this palette can return ranges of LabVIEW error codes or specific sound and vibration error codes.
Refer to the examples\Sound and Vibration directory for an example of using the Swept Sine VIs.
| Palette Object | Description |
|---|---|
| SVT Close Swept Sine (DAQmx) | Clears analog input and output tasks. |
| SVT Initialize Swept Sine (DAQmx) | Initializes swept-sine-analysis parameters on analog input and output devices. |
| SVT Start Swept Sine (DAQmx) | Starts the swept-sine measurement. |
| SVT Swept Sine VI Tree (DAQmx) | Shows all the user-level VIs on the Swept Sine VIs palette in a functional format. All the VIs in the first column of this palette are required when performing swept-sine measurements. Other subpalettes offer additional functionality. Swept-sine measurements developed with the LabVIEW Sound and Vibration Toolkit or the Sound and Vibration Measurement Suite follow the data-flow format depicted on the block diagram of this tree VI. |
| Swept Sine | Performs frequency response measurements by outputting a customizable sweep of test tones, acquiring the stimulus and response signals, and performing gain, phase, and distortion measurements. You must use a data acquisition device supported in DAQmx with at least one analog output and two analog inputs. |
