Use the Vibration Level VIs to perform vibration-level measurements.

The VIs on this palette can return ranges of LabVIEW error codes or specific sound and vibration error codes.

Palette ObjectDescription
SVL Crest FactorComputes the crest factor, peak level, and RMS level of scaled signal [EU] or even-angle signal [EU]. The data type you wire to the scaled signal [EU] or even-angle signal [EU] input determines the polymorphic instance to use.
SVL Decimated Exp Avg LevelComputes the exponential average level of scaled signal [EU] or even-angle signal [EU] and then decimates the level signal by decimation factor. The data type you wire to the scaled signal [EU] or even-angle signal [EU] input determines the polymorphic instance to use.
SVL Exp Avg LevelComputes the exponential average level of scaled signal [EU] or even-angle signal [EU]. The data type you wire to the scaled signal [EU] or even-angle signal [EU] input determines the polymorphic instance to use.
SVL Max-Min LevelComputes the maximum and minimum levels of scaled signal [EU] or even-angle signal [EU]. The data type you wire to the scaled signal [EU] or even-angle signal [EU] input determines the polymorphic instance to use.
SVL Peak LevelComputes the peak level of scaled signal [EU] or even-angle signal [EU]. The data type you wire to the scaled signal [EU] or even-angle signal [EU] input determines the polymorphic instance to use.
SVL RMS LevelComputes the root-mean-square (RMS) level of scaled signal [EU] or even-angle signal [EU]. The data type you wire to the scaled signal [EU] or even-angle signal [EU] input determines the polymorphic instance to use.
SVL Running RMS LevelComputes the running root-mean-square (RMS) level of scaled signal [EU] or even-angle signal [EU]. integration time [s] and integration revolutions specify the duration over which the RMS level is computed. The data type you wire to the scaled signal [EU] or even-angle signal [EU] input determines the polymorphic instance to use.
SVT Vibration LevelAllows you to compute several vibration level measurements including the root-mean-square (RMS) level, running RMS level, exponential average level, peak level, and/or maximum and minimum levels of scaled signal [EU] or even-angle signal [EU]. The data type you wire to the scaled signal [EU] or even-angle signal [EU] input determines the polymorphic instance to use.
Vibration LevelPerforms several vibration level measurements for a single channel or N channels. You also can perform single or double integration on the time-domain signal. You can compute the velocity or the displacement from an acceleration measurement.
