You can generate data up to 24 hours corresponding to one ephemeris file. During periods of longer signal generation, the optimal GPS/GLONASS satellites constellation, or satellites visible from the simulated location, may change. Optimal GPS/GLONASS satellites may move in or out of view, or the conditions around the satellite may change. With longer duration generation, receiver behavior can be successfully tested by simulating these circumstances.

You can control the number of optimal GPS satellites to be simulated using the Maximum Number of Optimal GPS Satellites property or NIGPS_MAXIMUM_NUMBER_OF_OPTIMAL_GPS_SATELLITES attribute, and number of optimal GLONASS satellites using the Maximum Number of Optimal GLONASS Satellites property or or NIGPS_MAXIMUM_NUMBER_OF_OPTIMAL_GLONASS_SATELLITES attribute. You can control the duration for checking for changes in optimal GPS satellites using the Optimal GPS Satellites Update Interval property or NIGPS_OPTIMAL_GPS_SATELLITES_UPDATE_INTERVAL attribute and for changes in optimal GLONASS satellites using the Optimal GLONASS Satellites Update Interval property or NIGPS_OPTIMAL_GLONASS_SATELLITES_UPDATE_INTERVAL attribute.
