You can use the toolkit to simulate receiver trajectories by updating the receiver location on the fly. You can select one of the following modes using the Trajectory Mode property or NIGPS_TRAJECTORY_MODE attribute:

  • Script or NIGPS_VAL_TRAJECTORY_MODE_SCRIPT: Use this mode if you want to generate a trajectory using trajectory command, as on-the-fly input to the Trajectory Script String property or NIGPS_TRAJECTORY_SCRIPT_STRING attribute. Call the niGPS Enqueue Motion Parameters VI or niGPS_EnqueueMotionParameters function when you want to update the Trajectory Script String property or NIGPS_TRAJECTORY_SCRIPT_STRING attribute, respectively.
  • Simple or NIGPS_VAL_TRAJECTORY_MODE_SIMPLE: Use this mode if you want to generate a trajectory using location or waypoints and travel duration, as on the fly input to the receiver initial location properties or attributes and the Trajectory Simple Travel Time property or NIGPS_TRAJECTORY_SIMPLE_TRAVEL_TIME attribute. Call the niGPS Enqueue Motion Parameters VI or niGPS_EnqueueMotionParameters function when you want to update the initial location properties or attributes and Trajectory Simple Travel Time property or NIGPS_TRAJECTORY_SIMPLE_TRAVEL_TIME attribute, respectively.

The syntax for the trajectory script string is the same as the syntax for trajectory script. Refer to the Trajectory Mode Script topic for more information about trajectory scripts.

Note  Call the niGPS Enqueue Motion Parameters VI or niGPS_EnqueueMotionParameters function to enable On the Fly Input Mode and update the receiver location dynamically.
Note  Call the niGPS Enqueue Motion Parameters VI at least once before calling the niGPS Create Data (I16) VI or call the niGPS_EnqueueMotionParameters function at least once before calling the niGPS_CreateDataComplexI16 function for the first time.
