Using the Touch Panel Module Templates (Touch Panel Module)
Use the Touch Panel Module templates as a starting point for developing Touch Panel VIs. From the Getting Started window, select New to open the New dialog box. Expand VI»From Template»Touch Panel and select a template.

The Touch Panel Module includes portrait and landscape templates.
Portrait Screen Template
The portrait screen template uses 28-point fonts, and the overall size of the user interface is 480 x 600 pixels. When you build a Touch Panel VI into an application, LabVIEW reduces the user interface by a scale factor of two, so fonts appear as 14-point type, and the user interface is 240 x 300 pixels on the target. Select a 6-inch template for the NI TPC-2006 or NI TPC-2106. Select a 12-inch template for the NI TPC-2012. Select a 6-inch or 12-inch template for the NI TPC-2512.
Landscape Screen Template
The landscape screen template uses 28-point fonts, and the overall size of the user interface is 640 x 480 pixels. When you build a Touch Panel VI into an application, LabVIEW reduces the user interface by a scale factor of two, so fonts appear as 14-point type, and the user interface is 320 x 220 pixels on the target. Select a 6-inch template for the NI TPC-2006 or NI TPC-2106. Select a 12-inch template for the NI TPC-2012. Select a 6-inch or 12-inch template for the NI TPC-2512.
