You can use events with picture controls.
Pen Width and Style
If you set the width element of the pen input in the Picture Functions VIs to anything greater than 1, the pen style is solid regardless of the value of the Style element.
Showing Ampersands (&) Using the Draw Text VIs
You must include two & symbols in a string to display a single & in a picture control if you are using the Draw Text at Point or Draw Text in Rect VI.
